Tanzania is probably the most well known producer of peaberry coffees in the world. Typically a coffee cherry contains two seeds, or beans, but when only one seed is fertilized the result is a smaller, rounded seed, what we call a peaberry. These smaller beans are known for their intense brightness and flavors, along with a medium body. We roast this one on the lighter side of medium to accent the rich fruit notes and overall sweetness. Look for notes of white raisin, caramel, and melon.
